Wow! Your going after all the heavy hitters this lent! Story of a Soul is my favorite - although I must say I never got very far in Dark Night of the Soul - There is a point where St. John writes something like "anyone who still has attachment to venial sin need read no further." So I set the book down at that point - but seriously - great choices! - I am going to be reading a book on Lectio Divina, "God's Fool" about St. Francis, and "Love and Responsibility" by JP the Great. Happy Lent!

Actually, I think that it was "Ascent of Mt. Carmel" where St. John said that....

The Diary of St. Faustina is absolutely WONDERFUL even if it did take me over a month to read it! Have a blessed lent!
